John A. Martell, PE
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Martell has over 30 years of experience in electrical contracting and industrial services. He is the founder of MISCOR and is currently president of Martell Electric as well as Ideal Consolidated. Prior to MISCOR, Mr. Martell was a founding shareholder of Trans Tech Electric, which became a founding member of Quanta Services (NYSE: PWR). While a member of Quanta Services, he serviced on the Board of Directors for three years. In the community, Mr. Martell is a member of the Engineering Advisory Council at the University of Notre Dame and served two terms on the Board of Trustees at St. Mary's College. He has an engineering degree and certificate in executive management from the University of Notre Dame. Mr. Martell is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Indiana and Michigan.
William J. Schmuhl, Jr.
Board Member
Mr. Schmull is currently a member of the teaching faculty in the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. He also serves as Chairman of Heywood Williams USA, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of products for the manufactured housing and recreational vehicle industries. Mr. Schmull is also a director of JSJ Corporation and Rieth-Riley Construction Co., Inc. Mr. Schmull chairs the audit committees of the boards of directors of JSJ Corporation and Rieth-Riley Construction Company. He served as a director of Heywood Williams Group, PLC, a UK-based specialty distributor, until November 2009. He is an attorney and certified public accountant.
Michael D. Topa
Board Member
Mr. Topa has over 20 years of senior management experience in public accounting and industry. Prior to MISCOR, Mr. Topa was CFO at Atwood Mobile Products. He has also held the position of President at Advanced Repair Technology, Keystone Ranger Holdings, and Composite Technology, Inc. He is a certified public accounting, and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Marietta and a bachelor's degree in business systems analysis from the University of Findlay.
Michael P. Moore
Board Member
Mr. Moore serves as president and chief executive officer of MISCOR Group, and its subsidiaries Magnetech Industrial Services, Inc. and HK Engine Components, Ltd. He formerly served as president of Emerald Performance Materials, a Lubrizol divestiture and leading supplier of niche chemicals to the automotive, food, textile, and other industrial and consumer markets with annual revenues of approximately $400 million. Mr. Moore has extensive experience in manufacturing services and operations, having held a variety of senior positions in Lubrizol, Noveon, and BF Goodrich. He has a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Ohio State University and a MBA from Baldwin Wallace College.
